My Favorite Saturday

It's about time! This roll of 120 has been sitting in a drawer for weeks and I finally got it developed this past weekend. I was so excited about how it turned out. 

For the shoot, Caroline and I thought we would go to some of our most favorite places, thus far, in our new city, Birmingham. 

The shoot took place in February, which was only the second month we had lived here so our favorite places were quite minimal... this day we chose Urban Standard and the running/walking trail near our house.

Venturer

This is my sister who is traveling to Peru next week and will be there for 4 months. She will be teaching English at an orphanage in Trujillo... Sally, I am so proud of you! 

Photoshoot Preview

Caroline wanted to test out her new bike last Saturday afternoon. So, I grabbed the cameras (35 mm Lomo LC-A+ and the medium format Rolleiflex) and documented her little adventure. I am still waiting for the film to get back from the Rollei, but here is a teaser shot from the 35 mm roll. One of my favorites.

The bike was generously given to her by Amy and Chase Kuhn before they moved to from Birmingham to Australia this February. Amy and Chase, we will give you your bike back under one constraint... you have to move back to Birmingham! You are extremely missed.
