A Cabin in the Woods

"The Cabin" has been the Ross family's choice get-away spot for almost a decade. It is set on the shore of a world class private fishing lake and is surrounded by an abundance of hunting land that is teaming with wildlife around every corner.

My thought going into this shoot was to sit back and enjoy the beauty of this place with a camera in hand. I wanted to capture the Ross family in the most natural way possible. This passive approach was in hopes of portraying their time with honesty and an attempt to force as little unnatural behavior as possible.
I had so much fun spending the weekend away in their special spot... I hope you enjoy!

Thanks to Jamie Clayton for letting me use his Mamiya 645 for this shoot.
