A big thank you to Nisolo Shoes for asking me to shoot their Fall 2013 Look Book. It's always an honor to work with inspiring people who not only create beautiful products but are focused on giving back to the hands that created them. Every Nisolo product is created by a small group of shoemakers in Trujillo, Peru. The company's goal is to empower their makers by providing a consistent livelihood. Nisolo is committed to these people for the long haul and is making every effort to do more than simply place a band-aid over their current struggles with poverty by addressing the root cause through job creation. Nisolo is Spanish for Not Alone and through it's continued success these talented craftsmen can use their skills to provide for their families for years to come.
